A bearing needs to be balanced and designed: the hardness of the balls requires to be combined with equally smooth and hard bearing tracks. The bearing cage, seals and greases must be coordinated to work perfectly.
If one of the components does not fit optimally, it reduces the performance of the entire bearing. The result is increased resistance, shortened life or even total failure of the bearing.

To prove that Kogel Bearings believes in its products, they guarantee that the bearings will run flawlessly for at least 2 years.
If something breaks in the first year, Kogel will repair or replace the product without many questions about jobs.
After the first year, a service must be provided. If the bearing is serviced by a qualified mechanic, ie a cleaning, relubrication and replacement of the seals,
the warranty is extended for another year.

With this bottom bracket fit cranks with 24 mm shaft diameter or GXP standard in frame with PF30 bottom bracket shell. The reduction sleeves required for SRAM GXP are included in the bottom bracket.
This bottom bracket is available with 2 different press-in depths. Deep (26 mm) or Shallow (14 mm). The Shallow bottom bracket is designed for steel or titanium frames with internal cable routing or Di2 routing so as not to obscure the openings of the chain stays unnecessarily.
