The German luxury manufacturer Schmolke stands for their feather-light products that are fully capable of driving and use despite excessive lightweight construction. TLO does not stand for The lightest One. Only the best carbon prepregs available on the market are used in this series, and the handlebars are specially tuned to the rider’s weight. Therefore, the occupancy of the carbon mats can be adjusted and the weight further reduced, without compromising on stiffness or durability.

The tube of the TLO seat post is only laminated in the especially stressed areas of up to 17 layers of thin carbon prepregs. In the stress-free zones, the number can even be reduced to 9 layers. This structure requires a very time-consuming construction, as it is not possible with high-volume products. In addition countless test bench tests come to work out the optimal structure with each variant. The head of the support clamps the saddle rack at 8 points. Due to the slight rounding of the aluminum clamping parts and the large carbon support surface, even sensitive carbon frame frames are not overstrained. Clamping via 2 titanium screws allows a stepless adjustment of the saddle inclination.Technical specifications:
