In the golden age of mountain biking, the former ONZA® team presented numerous innovative products to the bike community. Tire models like the RIP, the DAVE, the RAIL and of course the PORCUPINE were the epitome of tire innovation in cover of grip and performance. After more than 30 years, it’s time to revive the legendary achievements and achievements of the Porcupine!

Whether in mud, on loamy forest trails or deep dirt tracks, the Porcupine RC is the ideal gravity tire that works in every situation, no matter what the conditions. It offers a wide range of applications, ranging from Enduro to E-MTB. In collaboration with some of the fastest downhill riders in the world, no compromises were made when developing the most aggressive ONZA tire to date.

Tubeless ready
Compared to normal tube / tire combinations, tubeless ready tires offer better rolling behavior and more cornering traction with the same air pressure. Thanks to tubeless technology, the risk of a snake bite when it bottoms out is reduced to zero. With the additional use of tire sealants, puncture protection increases in the event of punctures and small cuts.

GRC
The new GRC carcass with 120 TPI offers the driver excellent comfort with a high level of puncture protection and is optimized for rims with an inner width between 28 and 35 mm. Like all ONZA tires, the Porcupine RC is tubeless ready.

Soft Compound 50
The improved compound formula provides more grip with less rolling resistance and less wear. The dual compound combines the best traction with good rolling characteristics and excellent durability. Soft 50a rubber in the middle of the profile for best traction and high grip as well as non-slip 45a rubber in the side knobs for excellent cornering. Technical specifications:
