The Crossmark II with the improved middle tread compared to its predecessor literally flies over the hard ground, but still has enough negative profile to reach for roots and rocks. The slightly reduced side knobs ensure far more precise steering than was previously known with “fast” tires. This is partly because the driving behavior when driving on inclined slopes has been improved.Tubeless ready (TR)
tube tubeless tires have many advantages: You can drive with less air pressure. This gives you better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no tube , the risk of breakdown also decreases. MAXXIS TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other “tubeless ready” tires. The bead of our TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer like a real UST tube . As a result, the tube free assembly is successful for all rims with standard dimensions as soon as they are inflated and with little liquid.
Even “normal” MAXXIS MTB tires can be fitted with sealant like tires from other manufacturers, as the carcass fabric is very tight.
Only the new MAXXIS TR models are officially approved for tubeless assembly and guaranteed by MAXXIS. The tubeless assembly of other models is at your own risk.

Note: We strictly advise against the use of ammonia-containing sealing milk. Ammonia has been shown to attack the carcass and, depending on the amount used, can weaken it up to 30% after just a few months.Dual compound
