This stylish part is a spider and chainring in one piece. It is mounted directly on your Race Face Cinch crank arm. The chainring is CNC-milled from a piece of aluminum and then anodized. The design of the teeth is based on the SRAM narrow-wide system. This ensures that the chain is optimally guided and even without a derailleur it stays where it belongs.
It is still recommended to use this chainring in combination with an SRAM Type 2/3 or Shimano Shadow + rear derailleur. Due to the significantly higher cage tension, a chain guide can be dispensed with in most cases.
The ovalization of the chainring increases the performance by varying the drive train and optimizing the resistance. When kicking with the legs, the natural strengths and weaknesses are brought into harmony.
